In the second episode of Frankfurt Walks we invite you to explore the center of Frankfurt am Main starting from the Eschenheimer Turm which was a city gate, part of the late medieval fortifications of the city and now is a city landmark. We will visit very special shopping center MyZeil designed by Massimiliano Fuksas and then, will explore the Altstadt - the Old City.
The historic part of Frankfurt was largely destroyed in 1944, later, the most important historic buildings, churches and squares were reconstructed. We will walk to the main square - the Römerberg and will do the promenade along the river Main with its beautiful views on the modern part of the city at sunset.
