In this episode we invite you to explore very particular small town in the mountains in Italy - Bisaccia Nuova (Avellino) which was built after the earthquake of 1980 near the old city of Bisaccia. The new part was designed as post-industrial "next future city", the concrete utopian town of the 20th century. The remarkable italian architect Aldo Loris Rossi designed both the masterplan of the town and the main public buildings such as the Church of the Sacred Heart, a kindergarten, schools, a market, a multi-purpose building. This town is an example of brutalist architecture and of how architects of the 20th century saw the future.
