In this episode of Copenhagen Walks we invite you to make a 1 day journey in the city by ferry and metro and explore 3 different parts of Copenhagen: Teglholmen and Sluseholmen that live on water, the new urban district Bellakvarter in Ørestad with its remarkable Bella Sky Hotel designed by 3XN, and very architectural South Ørestad (Vestamager metro station) with the famous and iconic '8 House' (built in the shape of a figure "8") designed by Bjarke Ingels Group BIG with its amazing landscape of Naturpark Amager around. We will also find some fascinating wooden pavilions by ADEPT hidden in nature.'8 House' received the 2012 AIA Institute Honor Award for "Architecture that recognizes achievements that elevate the general quality of the architectural practice".
