Turin: The Industrial City

The 1st episode of Turin Walks : we invite you for "roof pilgrimage" on the top of the former Fiat factory - the symbol of industrial avant-garde - where the historic car test track is now transformed into a roof garden and contemporary art place. The new shopping mall, the Pinacoteca, The Bubble and, of course, the Rampa Nord - the masterpiece of the engineer Giacomo Matte' Trucco. Also we will see the new comfortable metro line of Turin to travel between two famous skyscrapes : the 3rd talles skyscraper of Italy - Piedmont Region HQ by Massimiliano Fuksas and Intesa Sanpaolo by Renzo Piano.

Brutalist Paris: Les Choux de Créteil

  Les Choux de Créteil - the brutalist district in the suburbs of Paris. The district was designed by the architect Gérard Grandval and was completed in 1974. The name "The Cauliflowers" is given because of the particular petal balconies. "The flower is the anti-cube", said the architect. Let's explore it.
